It's never too late to learn and if you want to progress in your career or just study for pleasure then look no further than New College Durham.  We are one of the leading colleges for further and higher education in the North East.

Higher Education

We offer an excellent range of work-related higher education qualifications. This includes HNCs, HNDs, foundation degrees, degrees and professional studies in many subject areas, with full-time, part-time or flexible study. 
We also recognise the value of work and life experience for entry onto our courses for those without academic qualifications.

The QAA (Quality Assurance Agency) gave our higher education provision the highest rating for academic standards and quality of learning opportunities in 2006/07. 

Further Education

Alternatively, you may want to start with one of our further education programmes.  We have a range of full and part-time vocational (career focused) qualifications such as BTEC's, NVQ's, GCSE/A Level programmes or you could earn and learn at the same time with one of our popular Apprenticeship programmes. New College Durham is in the top 10% of colleges in the UK for performance and success rates.

Courses in your Community

We also have an exciting range of part-time day and evening classes such as Internet and Computing, Salsa, Spanish and Digital Photography, taking place at community venues across the region.
