The subjects are constituents of a course consisting of a minimum of 4 subjects, plus tutorial and enrichment sessions each week. Adults wishing to follow an academic pathway may be interested in the information on our Access to HE course.
Those wanting to study subject areas out of interest may wish to look at Language courses at New College Durham or Lifelong Learning courses at Newcastle University, Durham University, the University of Sunderland, the Open University or the University of the 3rd Age.
GCSEs
The Sixth Form Centre has a full-time programme of GCSEs consisting of two 1½ hour sessions for each subject each week plus tutorial, enrichment and Functional Skills. The subjects include:

There are September start evening classes in the core subjects. These are currently:
GCSE Science (Single Applied) Monday 6.00 - 8.00 pm
GCSE English Tuesday 6.00 - 8.00 pm or Wednesday 5.30 - 7.30 pm
