College Vehicles are all diesel powered and use ultra low sulphur diesel to minimise damaging emissions.

Green Transport Plan

• The College currently has a green transport plan, which was part of the overall planning submission approved by the local authority.   The travel plan is to encourage alternative means of travel to and from the College to reduce the environmental impact of the car. 
• The campus is currently well served by 26 service buses per hour travelling into and out of the city.  The College also provides a free coach service for 16-19 year old students. 
• The College currently has 900 car parking spaces on site, 450 split equally for staff and students and provision for 33 disabled parking and 50 cycle racks with provision for 100 bicycles and 2 motorcycle racks with provision for 24 motorcycles. 
• The College operates 2 environmentally friendly vehicles on site, an electric vehicle for general transport of rubbish sacks and the other a biodiesel litter picking machine.
• Set up database for car sharing staff and update regularly.
• Promote walking and cycling and the use of public transport.
• Embed the implications of travel plans into curriculum/student forum and staff/student induction
