News about global warming and its impact on the environment is everywhere. As a College we take our responsibility to reduce our impact on the environment very seriously and sustainability issues are high on our agenda.
Gas
Gas consumption/usage is currently 17% lower than the designed energy target. This is largely attributed to the low energy specification of the boilers linked to the building energy management system (BEMS) and good housekeeping.
