News about global warming and its impact on the environment is everywhere. As a College we take our responsibility to reduce our impact on the environment very seriously and sustainability issues are high on our agenda.

Renewable Energy and Conservation Energy

Installation of thin film single ply membrane photovoltaic systems to roof areas, which could generate 10 – 20% of total electrical load.
Solar Thermal Panels to roofs to heat water.
Installation of micro-generation wind turbines to roofs, which could generate 10% of total electrical load, (building has structural capability).
Install interlink controls to large workshop doors to switch off heating when doors are open.
Install Energy Manager Software to further enhance BEMS controls.
