News about global warming and its impact on the environment is everywhere. As a College we take our responsibility to reduce our impact on the environment very seriously and sustainability issues are high on our agenda.
Steps are currently being implemented to reduce the amount of paper usage eg Electronic Data Record Management (EDRM) electronic payslips, email. All facilities works requests are via the College Intranet onto the Managed Services computer, with hand held PDAs used by Estates.
Cardboard is collected and baled into small bales, which are stored on site for collection by a specialist contractor and collected at regular intervals.
