Aims

This exciting course aims to provide learners of all levels with the basic skills needed to develop their creative talents in life drawing.

You will engage in sessions where formal, tradition techniques and expressive processes are explored, building skills and confidence within a relaxed and social atmosphere.

Modules

  • Meeasuring - line work
  • Tone studies, shadows and highlights (Charcoal)
  • Expressive gestural charcoal study
  • Tone studies, colour with pastels
  • Negative/positive areas & continuous line
  • Large scale ink/acrylic washes
  • Large scale collage/paint/pastel
  • Large scale non traditional painting using rollers, card and paint
  • Mono print techniques - line
  • Painterly mono print techniques - tone
  • Grand finale - student choice!
