Support Services Open Day

The purpose of Learning Support within the College is to enable students to achieve their maximum educational potential at New College Durham and fully participate in college life.

New College Durham is committed to providing outstanding education and training to young people and adults, critical to the success of this commitment is the Learning Support provision. The Learning Support service offers a wide range of services to enable students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and additional support needs to make progress and succeed.

Learning Support is inclusive and person centred, we work with students and curriculum to identify and support individual needs to ensure equal access to education can be realised.  We are committed to offering a high quality service and provision to students with additional needs, and we will make every effort to ensure all students’ experience of New College Durham is positive.
