Hannah Dunn

Course: BSc (Hons) Podiatry

Previous school: Cleveland College of Art and Design

Hannah was delighted to find a podiatry course close to home. She fell in love with the facilities at our clinics.

She said:

“I wanted a change of career - New College Durham was the only institution running the course in the North East. I loved the facilities and the staff. They made my learning experience great!

“The campus was good and the clinics’ facilities were really impressive. I got amazing work placement opportunities, and gained hands-on experience working with real clients. I thoroughly enjoyed each of my work placements with the NHS Trust. I secured full-time employment as a podiatrist with South Tees Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

“I would like to further develop my skills to move into a senior podiatrist role. I'm also working towards becoming a clinical educator. I want to be able to help train new students in the future.”

Hannah described her time at New College Durham as interesting, hard work and life changing. She gained full-time employment as a podiatrist with her work placement employer, South Tees Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
