Flex & Travel

New College Durham has teamed up with Arriva and Go North East to provide Flex & Travel for full-time further education students. Bus tickets can be used throughout the academic year until the end of the summer term when attending College.
 

 
Applying for FREE travel to and from College

Flex & Travel offers travel to and from College weekdays during term time only on services operated by Arriva or Go North East, depending on the student's ticket choice. Bus tickets can only be used between College and the students home address. Click Here to download a Flex and Travel Brochure.

There are four routes of application. Please click on the section relevant.

Transport for those aged 16-18

  1. Aged 16-18 continuing on the second year of your current course living in County Durham (A2 and Level 3 Diplomas)
  2. Aged 16-18 starting a new qualification and living in County Durham
  3. Aged 16-18 continuing or starting a new qualification living outside County Durham

Transport for those aged 19+

  1. Students aged 19+ at the start of their course
