A safe college
Health and Safety
We want you to be safe in College. Detailed information on how to behave, how to obtain help if you need it and what to do in any kind of emergency is contained in the Health and Safety Handbook.
Exit routes to be used if you have to leave College buildings quickly are shown by green and white running man signs all around the College. We make sure you know how to get out of buildings, and where to go to in an emergency.
If you see a fire you must make sure that you and others move to a safe area and contact a member of staff or ring 0191 375 4433 immediately.
Risk Management is being aware of risks to students, to others and to the College and taking active steps to reduce that risk.
If you see anything you believe to be dangerous please report it at once on 0191 375 4433.
Your health and safety is our top priority.
