A-Level students visit Durham University A-Level students visited Durham University as part of Welcome Week. Norwegians arrive New College Durham Sixth Form welcomed Norwegian students from Elvebakken School in Oslo to study A-Levels. Teesside University Open Day The Sixth Form A2 students attended the Teesside University Open Day. Christmas Festivities Our Norwegian and Sixth Form students embraced Christmas traditions during their end of term party. Forensic DNA Our A-Level biologists had the opportunity to visit the Medical School at Newcastle University. Biology Week Students got involved in fun and interesting life sciences activities, and discovered the amazing world of biosciences. A-level students visit The Supreme Court A-level students visited The Supreme Court, Royal Courts of Justice and Old Bailey. Durham University visit Our Sixth Form students visited Durham University to learn about the opportunities available through higher education. Rainton Meadows nature reserve Our A-level biology students visited Rainton Meadows nature reserve to observe different species and habitats. Northumbria University Reader A Reader in Mathematics and Astrophysics from Northumbria University came to the College to speak to our AS Maths students. Norwegian students meet the Mayor Our Sixth Form Centre has welcomed students from Elvebakken School in Oslo for another year. Celebrating excellent A-Level results The college has received an impressive set of A-Level results enabling students to be accepted onto top university courses. Making the right choice at UCAS Higher Education Convention Students attended the UCAS Higher Education Convention at Teesside University. Biology Week New College Durham Science students celebrated Biology Week Interactive courtroom trial Psychology students visit Teesside University to take part in an interactive courtroom trial. Bite the Ballot Students took part in fun and interactive activities designed to inspire an interest in politics. Sixth Form host Norwegian students Our Sixth Form Centre has welcomed 29 students from Elvebakken School in Oslo, Norway to study A-Levels. Sixth Form Centre hosts Norwegian Students Twenty four students from Elvebakken College, Oslo, will be spending the following academic year studying with us.
