Teaching & assessment
Sessions will be engaging and will include both taught theory and seminar activities. The sessions aim to develop your knowledge and practice of being a manager by using an interactive approach.
Each unit has an assessment which has been designed and written by CMI. The assessments will take on different forms, such as written reports or presentations. They are initially assessed by internal staff, before being moderated externally by CMI at the end of the programme. You will have tutorials with your course tutor, to help you with your assessments. You will be required to carry out 20% off the job training.
You could progress to a relevant CMI programme at New College Durham.
Please note these prices are for the current academic year and may be subject to change for our courses starting in future years.
Interviews are usually carried out at the College or over the telephone at a pre-arranged time.
You will be asked about your current role, qualifications and management experience, to ensure that this programme is right for you. The interview will take approximately 20 minutes and will be quite informal.
You will hold Level 2 English and maths and ideally you will also be working in a relevant role.
