New College Durham has teamed up with national supermarket chain Sainsbury’s to launch a new qualification.

Aims

This course aims to help learners become occupationally ready to pursue a career in business, or undertake a higher education programme. You will develop the knowledge, understanding and skills required by the sector, including essential employability skills, and apply them in real work contexts.

Delivery

Day and time of study will be confirmed before the start of your course.

Teaching & assessment

You will complete a number of projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands. All units are internally assessed and graded by teachers and verified by Edexcel. An overall grade for the qualification is awarded to all learners who successfully complete all units. Grades awarded are Pass, Merit or Distinction.
