Learn how to perform this popular treatment by gaining the practical and theoretical knowledge and skills required to apply individual lash extensions.

You will work on real clients, and will feel comfortable using a range of tools, techniques and lash sizes.

Aims

This course aims to provide you with the practical and theoretical knowledge and skills required to perform individual lash extensions application on clients. You will work on real clients to undertake your summative assessments using a range of tools and techniques, lash sizes, and will provide appropriate aftercare advice.

You will be required to take photographs and record cards for case studies.

Teaching & assessment

You will be assigned a personal tutor for the duration of your course. You will carry out practical assessments with your tutor once you feel you are ready to be assessed. The assessments will be carried out at various points in the course.

Each unit will involve one assignments. You will be required to provide some clients and models throughout the course to work on, so that you can maximise your learning and explore the skills you have been learning.

Maths and English

As this is a full cost course you will not be required to undertake any formal maths or English qualification. The course does however promote opportunities to develop and enhance these skills.

It is important to learn and understand new terminology when completing in-depth treatment consultation forms with paying clients. In this customer focused industry, communication skills are essential for providing excellent customer service.

Placement:

Due to the nature of the course, you will not be required to undertake a work placement, we do recommend that you continue your studies outside of your course so that you can perfect your skills further.

You are not required to hold an formal beauty qualifications to study this course, however, it would be beneficial to have basic maths and English skills if you wish to work in the industry.
