This programme is part of the Foundation Studies offer and is suitable for students with Special Educational Needs who need further support in developing their individual skills whilst preparing for adulthood.

This programme develops knowledge, skills and behaviours which promote independence for learning and life.

Modules

The curriculum is designed so that students are given opportunities to develop a wide range of skills to help them to enjoy independent living, engaging with their community and developing healthy lifestyles.

Delivery

Day and time of study will be confirmed before the start of your course.

Teaching & assessment

You will have the opportunity to take part in competitions organised by the College, which aim to demonstrate the independent skills you have developed.

Maths and English

You will continue to develop your maths and English skills with specialist staff.
