This course is aimed for people aged 19 years or over.

This course is suited for people considering a change of career, new entrants to the industry, small business owners, and anyone considering a career as an accountant. This course also offers the opportunity to progress to further accounting qualifications and first step to becoming an accountant.

The course will cover understanding the role of the bookkeeper, understanding financial transactions, processing customer and supplier transactions, processing receipts and payments, and understanding the benefits and risks of using accounting software to complete bookkeeping tasks.

Entry Criteria

GCSE Grade 3 or above in English and maths, or Functional Skills Level 1

Applicants will be arranged to a Meet the Tutor appointment, which will take place in person or via Teams.
