The course provides you with the knowledge and introductory skills of the four main welding processes, brazing, soldering and thermal cutting techniques. The course in mainly practical based delivered in outstanding welding workshops.

The welding course is ideal if you want to start a career in welding engineering, are thinking about welding as a future career, or you are new to welding and want to learn the basics or working in an environment where learning a welding skill will support your current job role.

Study Aims

This qualification has been developed to give a broad introduction to the practices and processes within welding and for students to develop confidence in welding techniques.
