Why study graphics or digital arts at New College Durham?

As part of the North East Local Enterprise Partnership (NELEP) Strategic Economic Plan, Digital is one of the four areas of strategic importance. The NELEP aims to continue growing the digital sector to meet an overall target of 100,000 more and better jobs by 2024.

There are currently 29,000 digital and IT employees in the North East. The digital community in the North East of England is one of the most productive and fastest developing in the UK, across industry and public services.

The programme design is specifically aligned to the priorities for the digital industries which encompasses careers within graphic design and digital arts.

You will be involved in live client work, employer engagement and use industry standard resources, and you will also showcase your work in professional environments at end of year exhibitions.
