Christmas Festivities

To celebrate Christmas, our Norwegian and Sixth Form students organised to wear Christmas jumpers, and bring their favourite Christmas treats in, for an end of term party. The students embraced Christmas traditions by singing Norwegian Christmas songs and eating delicious mince pies. The get together was a success, and a lovely way to end the term for the Norwegian students as they are due to fly home for Christmas.

Nina Loftness, Norwegian Academic Leader, travelled over from Norway to surprise the students with a selection of Norwegian delicacies. Nina commented: “The key for the Norwegian students is to grow academically and socially. It is important the students find their feet in a new country and I am now reassured that they have.”

Lina Tran, AS Student, said: “The party was very festive and a fun way to end the term. The teachers here are very supportive, they want the best for you in your year of study.”

It is likely the Sixth Form students will get the opportunity to do something like this again. Maybe Easter?
