FutureMe helps sport student progress
Sport student, Lewis, has worked with FutureMe North East to realise his full potential and progress to study a university level course at New College Durham.
Lewis has always been interested in sport, exercise and health and his life ambition is to open his own gym. After completing Level 3 Sport at New College Durham, he attended various workshops with FutureMe that inspired him to take the next step.
Lewis commented: "Being on the Level 3 Sport course reaffirmed that I wanted to work in the sport industry in the future. I enjoyed finding out about the different degree programmes available."
Lewis is currently studying for his Foundation Degree with the view to moving onto a top-up degree. He has also been able to study for his Level 2 Personal Trainer qualification this year, with support from the David Lloyd Health Club.
Emma Watson, FutureMe Manager at New College Durham, said:
“It’s always a pleasure to help students achieve their dreams. Good luck in the future.”
