Jam session with Brooks Williams

In June, our HE music students attended the Colorado Roots Music Camp in America. Whilst at the festival, our music department developed strong links with American blues singer and songwriter, Brooks Williams.

Brooks was keen to work with our music students and recently visited the College. He provided the students with an insight into the industry and stylistic blues. The students took part in an incredible 30 person jam session and learned about Americana performance practise. It was an excellent day and we look forward to having Brooks back with us again soon.

We are constantly developing links with professionals to provide our students with invaluable experiences.
