Storytelling at Clayport library
Our Performing Arts students took part in a pre-school storytelling performance at Clayport library in Durham, where they presented three Julia Donaldson stories to an audience of young children.
The event allowed the students to perform to their target audience in a different performance space which reflected their first unit, Storytelling as Performance.
Faye Cunningham, Performing Arts Lecturer, said: “The staff at Clayport Library were astounded with the professionalism that our students demonstrated while performing at the library.”
It was an excellent experience for all involved. The students delivered their performance with confidence, enthusiasm and professionalism, engaging with the audience throughout.
