Comic Relief 2015
Student Union, gym staff, Sixth Form Centre, Vocational Access, Beauty and Technology staff and students organised and hosted a variety of activities to help raise money for Comic Relief.
The activities included a photo booth, press up challenge, virtual welding, cakes for sale, onesie football, sweet competitions, manicures and one of our Sixth Form students even got his legs waxed!
Jon Ridley, Head of Sixth Form Centre said:
“These activities, as well as being fun, are designed to encourage students to widen participation in extra-curricular activities. The improve their employability skills such as team work, communication, organisation and leadership.
The events were a fantastic success, staff and students from all college departments donated and took part in the activities throughout the day.
A fantastic £482.69 was raised for Comic Relief.
