Poppy Banks

Course: A-Levels (English Language, Law, Geography and Extended Project)

Previous school: Sedgefield Community College

New College Durham was local for Poppy. She was impressed by the range of A-Level subjects we offered.

She said:

“The Sixth Form Centre offered the subjects I wished to study. When visiting the College, I really liked the modern campus. The facilities available were really good and helped me to succeed. I really enjoyed having a coffee in Starbucks or Costa with my friends. There was a perfect balance of spaces to study and socialise.

“I would describe my time at New College Durham as interesting, challenging and creative. The experience helped me reach my potential and secure a place at university!”

Poppy progressed to Leeds Beckett University to study Law.
