Adam was searching for a course that would fit around his other commitments.
“I had previously studied on the FdA Supporting Learning & Teaching programme so knew I would be in good hands to top-up my degree. The course times fit perfectly around my full-time job and meant I was able to study while continuing to gain experience in the workplace.
“The lecturers were very knowledgeable and approachable and I received a lot of support throughout my time studying. I am so glad I followed my desire to further my career with more qualifications. The career opportunities after completing the course were fantastic. I secured employment as a teacher at The Link School in Sunderland and love my job.
“I chose New College Durham because it meant I was able to gain a full degree whilst studying part-time. My experience at the College was enjoyable and knowledgeable and I am certain I wouldn’t have had the same flexibility at a university!”
Adam is now a teacher at The Link School in Sunderland.
