Previous school: Woodham Academy

Sixth Form Centre student wanted to study A-Levels in order to progress to university.

Callum said: “New College Durham creates an environment for you to become more independent.  I wanted to study in a less formal environment, which wasn’t like school, and the Sixth Form Centre has a whole range of A-Level courses to help you progress to university.  The campus is very modern with a fantastic library, lots of facilities and two coffee shops to choose from!”

“The teaching staff were fantastic and helped me through the UCAS process. They are a great support, and specialists in their area, and went the extra mile to help me achieve.  They have a relaxed but structured approach to education and it creates a good environment to achieve.”

After successfully completing his A-Levels, Callum gained a scholarship to study in California for a year and is now at the University of Cambridge studying Law.
