Course: BSc (Hons) Podiatry
Previous school: St Joseph's Sixth Form College
Danielle returned to education following a break and described her experience at New College Durham as educational, supportive and excellent.
She said: “I decided to study at New College Durham as it was the closest provider of the course I wanted to study and also had good facilities. The best thing about the course was the teaching staff, the fact that it had a good training programme, plus the excellent facilities like the clinic at Bishop Auckland.
“In additional to the college’s two podiatry clinics, I had a work placement in the NHS as part of my course.”
Danielle is now working as a podiatrist for the NHS.
Podiatry is a specialist area of healthcare, allied to medicine, which involves care and maintenance of foot and lower limb conditions.
