James Noble
Course: Sport Apprenticeship
Previous School: Sedgefield Community College
James thought the facilities in the college gym were great and described his time here as fun, helpful and rewarding.
He said: “I decided to do an apprenticeship as I wanted to gain experience working whilst still studying and I also wanted to gain knowledge of a work environment. I also enjoyed being able to learn about something I'm passionate about. I came to New College Durham as it had the apprenticeship I was looking for.
“The best thing about the apprenticeship was my tutor’s knowledge, help and experience throughout the course. He helped me massively throughout my time at college, especially when I needed extra help outside of my scheduled time.
“I would like to have my own gym in the future with clients who participate in classes and also one-to-one training sessions.”
James has now secured employment as a Leisure Assistant with his apprenticeship employer Active Life @ Coxhoe.
