This summer we are celebrating the first cohort of our T-Level Construction, Digital and Education & Childcare students completing the two-year programme. We’re incredibly proud to be marking this moment as one of the first providers to deliver T-Levels from September 2020.
Our T-Level offer for September 2022 has more than doubled and includes exciting areas such as dental nursing, laboratory science, motor vehicle and plumbing and heating engineering.
All of our T-Level courses have been developed in collaboration with employers to ensure our students gain the skills they need over the two years to progress into their chosen industry. Equivalent to three A-Levels, T-Levels can be studied after school to achieve UCAS points to progress to higher study.
T-Levels boast both classroom learning and an ‘on-the-job’ industry experience of at least 45 days. We’re very proud of our first cohort of T-Level students for their resilience and commitment to completing the programme.
Laurie Williams, T-Level in Education and Childcare student at NCD, commented:
“The best thing about the course was gaining hands-on experience working in a primary school as part of my industry placement. This allowed me to link what I learnt in class to the real world.”
Laurie has accepted an unconditional offer and scholarship to study Education, SEN and Mental Health at York St John’s University.
