698affe4b870fLooking to kick-start a career in Civil Engineering and earn a qualification at the same time? This could be the perfect first step. As a Civil Engineering Apprentice, you’ll be supported every step of the way, gaining real-world experience while developing the skills you need to build a successful career in the industry.
You’ll work alongside experienced engineers, getting hands-on experience on live projects while studying towards a Level 3 Civil Engineering Technician qualification, delivered on-site by New College Durham. It’s a fantastic opportunity to learn, grow and make a real impact.

- Managing day-to-day correspondence linked to civil engineering projects
- Assisting with feasibility studies and option appraisals for potential traffic schemes
- Carrying out site surveys such as speed surveys and traffic counts
- Following a structured apprenticeship programme to achieve a professional Civil Engineering qualification

- Enjoys problem-solving and thinking things through
- Can spot potential risks or errors and take a logical approach
- Communicates clearly and confidently
