69b01bd044152Office Junior (Business Administration Apprentice) required to support a small, friendly office team based in Great Lumley. This role offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in administration while working towards a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Office Junior / Business Administration Apprentice to join a relaxed and supportive office environment based at Riding Farm, Great Lumley.
The successful candidate will support the team with a range of day-to-day administrative tasks while developing valuable workplace skills as part of a Business Administration Apprenticeship.
Main duties will include:
Answering telephone calls and taking messages
Filing documents both physically and digitally
Scanning, photocopying and printing documents
Sending emails and basic correspondence
Assisting colleagues with general administrative tasks
Checking printers have paper, ink and other supplies
Monitoring and ordering office stationery when required
Preparing tea/coffee for meetings when needed
Keeping shared office areas tidy and organised
Running occasional small errands when required

Working Hours:

The office has a relaxed atmosphere and dogs are present on the premises, so applicants should be comfortable working in a dog-friendly environment.
The apprentice will work towards a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship Standard delivered by New College Durham.
Training will be delivered through a combination of workplace learning and college support. The apprentice will develop knowledge and skills in areas such as administration systems, communication, customer service, and office procedures. Apprenitce will undertake 1 day a week at college.
