Legal Receptionist - Level 3 Business Admin Apprentice

Professional Legal Receptionist Apprentice required for a busy law firm in Spennymoor. You will be the first point of contact for clients, providing excellent customer service while supporting the legal team with reception and administrative duties in a fast-paced office environment.

As a Legal Receptionist Apprentice, you will provide a professional front-of-house service and support the legal team with a variety of administrative duties.

Your responsibilities will include:

Greeting clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.

Answering and directing telephone calls and taking messages.

Handling incoming and outgoing post.

Maintaining a tidy and welcoming reception area.

Booking and coordinating meeting rooms.

Supporting new client onboarding and documentation.

Filing, scanning, photocopying and preparing legal documents.

Scheduling appointments and managing diaries.

Liaising with clients and third parties.

Updating internal systems and maintaining accurate records.

Providing administrative support to legal directors, legal executives, fee earners and secretaries.

Maintaining strict confidentiality at all times.

This is a varied and fast-paced role offering excellent opportunities to develop administrative, customer service and legal office skills.

    1 day a week of study at New College Durham

    Full training in reception and legal administration.

    Customer service and communication training.

    Document management and legal office procedures.

    Ongoing mentoring and support from experienced legal professionals.

    Functional Skills in English and Maths (if required).
