Engineering Apprentice
Greencroft Bottling is one of the UK’s top contract wine packers with a relentless passion for innovation, personal service and superb quality.
To develop mechanical / electrical maintenance skills and experience sufficiently to be able to pass qualification framework and work towards taking up a full time Maintenance Engineering role.
Wholly participate in the scheme and work towards completion of all course work to successfully complete the apprenticeship.
Attend college and assessment meetings as required / scheduled.
Work alongside the Maintenance Engineers to gain experience and knowledge of mechanical and electrical issues.
Work alongside Production Operatives to understand the common issues they encounter and work with Maintenance Engineers to improve / resolve.
Participate / observe in onsite equipment installations as required.
Participate in internal improvement projects.
Participate in equipment PDI’s as required.
Ensure housekeeping and hygiene standards are maintained, and at audit standard at all times.
Ensure all duties are carried out in accordance with current H&S legislation.
Use all PPE as instructed.
Maintain a safety working environment at all times.
Report any serious malfunctions or risks to a responsible person.
