The Level 2 Diploma in Electrical Installation provides learners with a comprehensive introduction to the building services industry. The qualification enables candidates to acquire, develop, and apply the fundamental knowledge and practical skills required for employment and/or future career progression within the electrotechnology sector.

Entry Criteria
Learners will need GCSE grade 4 or above in both math's and English or have completed the level 1 diploma in electrical installation.
Additional Costs
Learners are required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for all practical sessions. This includes safety footwear, work trousers, and a long-sleeved top.
For theory sessions, learners must bring the following items: pens, pencils, a ruler, a scientific calculator, an A4 notepad, and a folder.
In addition, learners may wish to purchase the latest edition of the On-Site Guide and/or The City & Guilds Textbook: Book 1 Electrical Installations, Second Edition.

Online multiple-choice examinations for four theory units
A practical assessment
On successful completion of the level 2 course, learners may be able to progress onto level 3 diploma or electrical apprenticeship.
