The EAL Level 2 Diploma in Engineering Operations with a Mechanical and Electrical bias provides learners with the foundational skills and knowledge necessary for a career in the engineering industry. Combining theoretical principles with hands-on practical training, this qualification focuses on mechanical and electrical engineering operations, preparing individuals for a wide range of technical roles.
Learners on this course are part of our Tridonic Electrical and Electronic Academy, benefiting from weekly industry-led sessions, site visits, placements, and guest speakers, following a co-designed curriculum that equips you with the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and behaviours needed to progress into employment or further study.
Entry Criteria
You will need to have a minimum grade 4 in Maths and English.

Times of Delivery
The course is normally delivered over 3-4 days per week between 0900 - 1630.

Teaching and Assessment
You will assessed through a combination of online exams, knowledge and competence based assessments.
You could progress onto a Level 3 engineering qualification.
