This course is aimed for people aged 19 years or over.

The course will give you the skills and knowledge to perform all eye and brow treatments, such as eyelash and eyebrow tinting, brow lamination and brow shaping using tweezers and wax.

Entry Criteria

There are no formal entry requirements.

Additional Costs

You will need to purchase a lash and brow kit.

Modules Studied

You will complete the following modules:

  • Following Health and Safety guidelines on preparing therapist and client during the treatment
  • Selecting correct tools, equipment and techniques for the treatment
  • Carrying out a safe treatment including any prior skin tests, full consultation with a client
  • Eye Treatments include Eyelash and eyebrow tint
  • Eyebrow shape, maintenance and wax
  • Eyebrow Lamination treatment
  • Understand maintenance and aftercare advice given to the client

Times of Delivery

A Wednesday evening from 5.30pm-8.30pm.

Any times indicated are based on current courses and may be subject to change in future years. Full timetables will be confirmed at the start of each course.

Teaching and Assessment

You will attend college once a week for 7 weeks. Each session will be over 3 hours on an evening.

You will carry out a number of treatmeants on real clients and your peers so you can be assessed and receive feedback.

You will also complete an assignment on the course, to cover anatomy and physiology, and information on eye treatments, contraindications and aftercare.
