Hone your photography skills, from perfecting how to use a digital camera to developing photo editing skills and even the application of photography to materials.
This course will consist of practical workshops and instruction, providing the skills necessary to create exciting creative photographs for a range of professional and creative intentions.
You will be taught how to manage a project from planning through to creation of framed prints, t-shirts etc. Through hands on learning you will explore research, idea generation, framing, technical production and post-production processes, resulting in a final product you can be proud of.

Study Aims
During the course you will learn the following:
- Using digital cameras ~Developing photo editing skills and understanding of software
- Printing and finishing including application to materials e.g. Mugs, T-Shirts
- Researching applications for photography, including business applications
- Creative planning and idea generation
- Applying skills to creative photography projects and tasks
- Evaluating work against aims
Modules Studied
You will study the following modules:
- Use materials, tools and equipment to develop techniques (3 credits)
- Investigate creative enterprise and employment opportunities (5 credits)
- Develop ideas (4 credits)
- Create, present and evaluate final production (3 credits)
