Module 2

    • Consolidate understanding of HR, Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), and Quality Management System (QMS)
    • Reinforce relevance to AESC operational standards and NCFE Level 2 qualification
    • Overview of process safety and regulations
    • Identify and classify workplace hazards
    • Introduce effective risk management strategies aligned with AESC’s safety protocols
    • Understand process safety principles, protective layers, and operational practices

Module 3

    • Reinforce key process safety principles and practices from induction
    • Educate on emergency preparedness and site-specific safety policies
    • Promote a safety-first mindset
    • Highlight rarity of major incidents and the value of performance indicators
    • Support continuous improvement and safe working practices

Module 4

    • Provide an overview of AESC’s business structure, global operations, product portfolio, and strategic direction
    • Emphasize AESC’s commitment to corporate social responsibility, STEM engagement, and talent management
    • Connect Business Improvement Techniques (BIT) to NCFE Level 2 qualification
    • Introduce 5S methodology, contamination prevention, and cleanroom risk assessments
    • Cover battery safety legislation, certification, competency, and electrical safety
    • Establish the link between safety and continuous improvement

Module 5

    • Introduce safety procedures, operational standards, and expectations for Plant 2
    • Integrate health, safety, and environmental practices with NCFE Level 2 BIT qualification
    • Tour of Plant 2 to familiarize employees with operations and safety protocols
    • Emphasize the practical application of business improvement techniques
    • Ensure employees contribute to a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement

Module 6

    • Introduction to AESC’s Integrated Management System (IMS) and its organizational structure
    • Align with NCFE Level 2 BIT qualification to support continuous improvement and operational excellence
    • Overview of production line operations and workplace culture
    • Focus on safety and quality standards for efficient production
    • Introduce Fortress and Lock Out Access Systems and relevant legal requirements
    • Ensure compliance with HASAWA and PUWER 98

Module 7

    • Equip new starters with knowledge and practical skills for maintaining safety, efficiency, and quality on the production line
    • Reinforce understanding of Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), Fortress Systems, and Routine/Control Item Lists
    • Introduce Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM), equipment cleaning, and inspection routines
    • Ensure employees can identify faults, complete buy-offs, and escalate production issues
    • Align with NCFE Level 2 BIT qualification for continuous improvement and operational excellence

Module 8

    • Provide foundational knowledge and competencies for working safely and efficiently
    • Introduce Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) and operational zones
    • Familiarize employees with key manufacturing processes (cell formation, aging, module/pack assembly)
    • Emphasize proper use of PPE, safe chemical handling, split cell techniques, and instrumentation
    • Align with NCFE Level 2 BIT qualification and emergency procedures, including fire drills

Module 9

    • Prepare new starters to operate safely and effectively in a high-performance manufacturing environment
    • Teach fire drill procedures and production reference sheets
    • Introduce Kaizen principles and organisational strategies for continuous improvement
    • Promote active participation in enhancing safety, quality, and efficiency
    • Cover Quality Control stories and Kaizen techniques to manage safety, quality, cost, and time

Module 10

      • Consolidate essential knowledge and skills for effective and safe operation
      • Cover fire drill procedures, production reference sheets, Kaizen principles, QC stories, and manual handling techniques
      • Focus on cell inspection processes and assessment criteria for quality assurance
      • Review key concepts: zone appreciation, HMI, Fortress systems, PSMO, 5S methodology, cleanroom protocols
      • Ensure confidence in core competencies and alignment with continuous improvement and operational excellence
