  • Homestay Accommodation

New College Durham does not offer any onsite residential accommodation for students; however, we do offer and manage our own Homestay accommodation provision.

Our network of Homestay providers ensures your residential experience as an inbound international student will be safe and secure.

Alternatively, we can also assist you in securing private local accommodation in the city of Durham and surrounding areas. The college has compiled a list of accommodation contacts that you may wish to contact to arrange your own private accommodation. Our International team are happy to discuss the accommodation with you before you secure a booking.

    Homestay accommodation

Staying in Homestay accommodation is an excellent opportunity to experience British culture and lifestyle.  Your Homestay family can support you during your studies and you will have the opportunity to get involved in their everyday life, from eating together to engaging in social activities.

Want to improve your English? This option will provide with you an ideal opportunity for you to practice your English.

All Homestay families are selected, inspected, and monitored by our International team. All family members must pass a Disclosure and Barring Services (DBS) check to help assess their suitability.
