Mollie Sudder AAT student of the year 2023A huge well done to Mollie Sudder who is studying as a Level 2 Accounts/Finance Assistant apprentice with her employer, Q9 Cladding Solutions Ltd.

Mollie achieved a perfect score of 100% and was awarded AAT Student of the Year. Her remarkable achievement emphasises her exceptional understanding.

Devonne Burn, Lecturer in Accounting at NCD, enthused:

“Mollie’s performance throughout her apprenticeship has been nothing short of excellent. She consistently demonstrates a strong understanding of the subject matter and applies her knowledge effectively in both practical and theoretical scenarios. Her consistently high grades in the units completed thus far, speak volumes about her exceptional abilities and dedication.”

As well as consistently excelling academically, Mollie also displays an outstanding positive attitude towards her work. Her enthusiasm and passion for the field of accounting and finance are evident in her daily interactions and contributions in class.

Going above and beyond to support her peers, Mollie willingly shares her knowledge and insights, making her an invaluable asset to the entire cohort.

Mollie commented:

“Throughout my time at NCD, I have received excellent support and guidance which has enabled me to develop my knowledge and understanding of each course topic. I always feel comfortable asking questions and I have regular 1-1s with my Apprenticeship Skills Co-ordinator to get feedback and talk through my portfolio content. I am thrilled to have been awarded AAT Student of the Year, an apprenticeship has been the perfect combination for me to learn in the workplace. Thank you to everyone supporting my journey at New College Durham.”
