Our first cohort of evening Access to Higher Education Health students celebrated completing the diploma at the end of 2022.
The group have been dedicated through a cold, snowy and windy winter – with some of the students commuting from Northumberland and even joining via Teams from Manchester. It has been amazing to see the commitment to succeed, with the group powering through illness and two mums-to-be beating baby brain.
We are over the moon and want to celebrate their achievements. Jo Marriott, Access to HE Curriculum Manager, commented:
“The group have been wonderful, we are so proud of them for their commitment and what they have achieved. We wish them all the best of luck in their future studies.”
From paramedic science, radiography and nursing to midwifery and psychology, the group are progressing to some fantastic destinations. One student is continuing their studies at NCD’s University Centre to get a degree in Supporting Innovation in Health & Social Care.
